Larry Farnese is an associate of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC's Litigation Department and a former Democratic candidate for State House Representative (D-182). He has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation involving copyright/trademark infringement, protection of corporate trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty disputes and construction-related litigation. Admitted to practice in PA, NJ, and U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey, he has not only successfully briefed and personally argued matters in the appellate courts of Pennsylvania, but also throughout the country.
Farnese transfers his litigation skills to actively champion education, youth, diversity, and cultural opportunities. This is evident through his involvement with Philadelphia Reads, Liberty City, and the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations where he serves as an instructor in the annual Pennsylvania High School Trial Advocacy Competition. Farnese also serves on the executive boards of Casa Farnese, the University of Pennsylvania's Young Friends of the International House, and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce.
