AMANDA MILLER
Ballet

Amanda Miller was a dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet from 1993 to 2002, and an original founder and co-artistic director of Phrenic New Ballet. Thereafter, she founded Miro Dance Theatre with fellow Phrenic Director Tobin Rothlein. She has choreographed works for Phrenic New Ballet, Bryn Mawr College, Singing City, SharpWire, The Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Shut Up and Dance, and Newtown Dance Repertory Company. Miller's performance experience includes world premieres by Dwight Rhoden, Jorma Elo, Doug Elkins, Matthew Neenan, Meredith Rainey, Jessica Lang and Jodie Gates, and has allowed her the opportunity to work with Alonzo King, Trey McIntyre, Lar Lubavitch, Risa Steinberg, Igal Perry, Thaddeus Davis and London, England's Siobhan Davies. Recently she performed with and was dance captain for the Opera Company of Philadelphia's production of The Pearl Fisher's.
