| Lamar Baylor, Company Dancer
|
Lamar Baylor began seriously studying dance at the Creative Arts High School here in Philadelphia. He then went on to continue training at Philadanco and at University of The Arts, where he is completing his BFA in Jazz Dance (class of 2008). Throughout college, Lamar has been dancing professionally with Eleone Dance Theater as principal dancer and rehearsal director. This is Lamar's first season with Rebecca Davis Dance Company.

| JENNIFER CHICHEPORTICHE, Dancer
|
Jennifer Chicheportiche (Anne Sullivan) was born in Bordeaux, France. She trained at the Academie Besso Ballet de Toulouse and completed her studies in Paris. At the age of 19, she joined the Jeune Ballet International de Rosella Hightower in Cannes before being a member of Balletto Teatro Di Torino for two years. While in the Italian company, she toured around Europe and performed at the International Ballet Festival of Miami. In 2004, she moved to Scotland to dance with The Ensemble Group, performing contemporary works from international choreographers. Ms. Chicheportiche continued her career in the UK with Opera North, doing their national tour of "One Touch Of Venus". After coming to NYC, she performed with Chamber Dance, International Ballet Theater, and Rebecca Davis Dance Company.

| JESSICA M. HIGGINS, Dancer |
A native of North Carolina, Jessica received her dance training at Raleigh School of Ballet. She has attended Boston Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, NC Dance Theatre and Paul Taylor’s summer dance programs. In 2004, she graduated from Wright State University with a BFA in Dance and performed with Dayton Ballet as a member of DBII. Since graduation, Jessica spent a year dancing with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II and a season with Verb Ballets. Jessica recently moved to Philadelphia and is training with Philadanco.

| LAUREN PUTTY, Company Dancer |
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Lauren was introduced to dance at age three. She trained at Towson University Children’s Dance Division, Carver Center for Arts and Technology, the Peabody Conservatory, the Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Residency Program in DC, and the Juilliard School Summer Intensive in NYC. She holds a honors BFA degree in modern dance from the University of the Arts, where she worked with prominent choreographers such as Milton Myers and Christopher Huggins. She has won several awards, including the honorary recipient of the Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award and the Choreography Prize and Outstanding Performance in Modern Dance Award. She had her professional choreography featured in the 2005 Elan Awards in NY as well as with the Washington Reflections Dance Company. This is her first season with The Rebecca Davis Dance Company.

| Bennyroyce Royon, Dancer |
Bennyroyce is originally from the Philippines. He received his B.F.A.
in 2006 at The Juilliard School where he danced works by Jose Limon,
Paul Taylor, Mark Morris and Eliot Feld.
In Summer of 2005, he worked with choreographer Aszure Barton in a
residency at the Baryshnikov Arts Center for Mikhail Baryshnikov.
Bennyroyce also choreographs and his works have been presented in
Montreal, Maryland, and in New York City at Lincoln Center.

| Emily Wagner, Company Dancer |
Emily Wagner, a Michigan native, began her serious ballet training at 15. Her most influential training came from her dear friend, mentor and still current coach from the New York City Ballet, Sabrina Pillars. Emily's career started at the American Ballet Theater and led her onto companies such as Ballet Austin, International Ballet Theater, Dance Continuum and eventually to Europe. In 2005, she performed Peter Breuer's Bolero in Salzberg, Austria, as well as performed as a soloist with the Movement Network of Amsterdam and The Netherlands. Back in the United States, she is working with The New Generation Dance Company, Virginia Civic Ballet, Chamber Dance Project in NY and Ballet X in Philadelphia. Emily is also an internationally certified pilates instructor.

| Shannon Lambert-Ryan, Actress |
Shannon Lambert-Ryan, a Muhlenberg College graduate with Theatre, History and Music degrees, was featured in Shyamalan’s The Village, as the “Sweeping Girl Picking the Red Flower”. Performances include Sweeney Todd at the Arden, “Glory Bee” in States of Shock, “Alais” in A Lion in Winter, and premiering “Ermia” in an Italian operetta (Italy). She also performed “Nancy” (Oliver!) at the Merriam Theatre. |
