| COMPANY ANNOUNCED 11 DANCERS FOR 2009-2010 SEASON |
| The Rebecca Davis Dance Company is pleased to announce its full company for the upcoming season. September 2009 will mark the fourth anniversary of the organization as well as its largest ensemble of professional dancers on full-time contracts ever. The company consists of the following dynamic dancers: |

Kevin Anthony
Kevin has danced with Alma Dance Company, Robert Moses Kin Dance Company, Inland Pacific Ballet and Oakland Ballet. Prior to his professional career, he trained at Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, San Francisco Ballet School and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. He performed with Rebecca Davis Dance Company in the 2009 premiere “Van Gogh” before joining the troupe full time.

 Samantha Barczak
Samantha has performed with Pennsylvania Ballet, Northeast Ballet, Contrast Dance Theatre, Circus Nexus, and Delaware Opera Company. She has restaged works for Huntington Ballet Theatre, Quinte Ballet School, and The Charleston Ballet. She played the role of Sien Hoornik in Rebecca Davis Dance’s Van Gogh and now joins the company full-time. Samantha is also the lead dancer in the outreach initiatives of the organization. |

Ian Dodge
Ian graduated from University of Nevada with a BFA in Dance. He is a company member of Jeanne Ruddy Dance and Rebecca Davis Dance Company. Ian studied on scholarship with Giordano Jazz Dance, Jacob’s Pillow, Rock School for Dance Education, and Koresh Dance Company. |

Danielle Grimm
Danielle has been a featured dancer in Rebecca Davis Dance Company’s Helen Keller, Greed: The Tale of Enron and Van Gogh. She holds a BFA in Dance from University of The Arts. Danielle has also danced with NY Dance Theater and Smoke, Lilies and Jade Arts Initiative. Danielle is also assisting the organization with tour management. |

Victor Lewis Jr.
Victor graduated from The University of The Arts in May 2009 with a major in Modern Dance. He has also trained at Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Philadanco, and performed with Faithful Dance Company and Eleone Dance Theater. This is his first season with Rebecca Davis Dance Company. |

Jillian Mitchell
Originally from Michigan, Jillian has danced with New Jersey Ballet Company and trained at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The Harid Conservatory, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater School and The National Ballet School. She has taught ballet at all levels. This is Jillian’s second season with The Rebecca Davis Dance Company. |
 Sergey Pakharev
Sergey graduated from The Kirov (Vaganova) Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, before joining The Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet Theater. He has performed as a soloist and principal guest artist with Cincinnati Ballet, Orlando Ballet and Fort Worth – Dallas Ballet. Sergey’s repertoire with Rebecca Davis Dance Company includes Vincent van Gogh in Van Gogh and Baxter in Greed: The Tale of Enron. He will be playing the title role of Brian Steidle in Darfur in 2009, his first full year with the company. |

Jane Koorts
Jane holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance from London Studio Centre, UK, as well as certification in Sports Massage Therapy from the University of Surrey. In the US she has performed with Columbia City Ballet, Contemporary Ballet Theatre and Ballet Savannah, and guested with Nutcracker of Middle GA. Jane also currently performs with International Ballet Classique in Media, PA, and teaches at both The Academy of International Ballet and in the training program of Rebecca Davis Dance Company. This is Jane's second season with the company.

 Matt Thomas
Most recently, Matt has danced with Eleone Dance Theater and guested with several local companies. He is joining Rebecca Davis Dance for the 2009-2010 season after performing with the Company during its spring showcase season. He also teaches modern and jazz throughout Philadelphia. |
